Welcome to WCC
Woodbridge Chamber Concerts (WCC) held its inaugural concerts in May 2008 in St Mary’s Parish Church in Woodbridge, a traditional market town in Suffolk on the River Deben. Since then, the short concert series, promoting music making of the highest standard, has grown in reputation and audience size. These concerts now take place on the last Saturday in May and the first Saturday in June, with an additional Friday concert added to one of the weekends.
The beautiful fifteenth century parish church of St Mary’s has good sight lines, a raised performing dais and an excellent acoustic. WCC maintains a mailing list, whose members receive details of the concerts on the 1st March each year, two weeks ahead of the general public. There is also a discount for multiple ticket purchase and there will be no price increase for 2012. Inevitably ticket sales alone very rarely cover the cost of each event and WCC acknowledges the help and support given by its local sponsors who value both the performances and WCC’s educational work with the advanced musicians from the town’s two secondary schools.

The church is only a short walk away from Woodbridge Station on the East Suffolk line. There are plenty of car parks nearby and information on these and a simplified town map are available on the website.
